Reframing The View: The Specto Step:2

After making a proper panaromic view, the second part was to make an abstracction of the frames ithat we have chosen and their surroundings, including the sense of depth, farness and 60 degrees of cone of wiev.

My first trial was a tedrahedral-structure. It was shapeable and I was able to define both the surfaces with their farness and depth. Although, there was a problem about frames surrondings.

In the second trial I was questionning more about everthing for the designing procces.
How could I give the depth and farness at the same time?
How could I manage to achive frames?
ofcourse, fpr all these there should be a system provided.

I design a folded plate that fits all of my concerns and thinking to use it repetitively. Also, it will have the constructional qualities.

By changing the edge lenght of the quadrilateral I was able to give the depth and replacing some areas with transparent asetat paper I was able to show the frames. If  the frame is higher asetat paper is higher visa versa. the continuity of the frames when looked at the center of the design in 60 degrees is giving the total frame for the selected object.

Reframing The View: The Specto

We were asked to chose a spot in the open-air places of the the Anatolian Civilizations Museum and take a 360 degreed panaromic view picture then, create o cylinderical screen, radius of 25cm, in black and white choose 3-5 views of artifacts, environment or temporary events situating by highlighting them in red and tighten robes on the adges of the artifacts.

After the criticks I ve re considered the temporary events and artifials on the surroundings. I looked for the best frames to represent what I wanted to show in my design work. I ve updated my work for the final submission.

Performing Topographies Step:2.5

After making the abstraction of the careography finally, we were asked to make a topography, talking in the same language with our abstactions, for our previous models. My first try was using wrapping technique onto wooden skeleton and give a feeling of continuity and showing the height and lows in topography with the craft paper. I could manage a tectonic quality in other words, it is able to stand still as a one piece strongly.

Befor the evaluation I ve updated my model. Now, it is more correct in terms of it's talking the same language with my abstraction. It is also much more durable in structural tectonics. The balsa and wooden sticks creating surfaces are more stronger in terms of tectonics when they're used together.
